Since it's inception in 1993, Mayan Dreams Imports has brought hand crafted folk art, home furnishings and garden decor to the Americam market. From religious and spiritual art to hand painted ceramic pieces in the tradition known as Talavera, Mayan Dreams has been at the forefront of innovative design in the gift and home decor industry.

Our products have been featured in many nationally distributed catalogs including J.Jill, Sundance, The Paragon, The Territory Ahead, and the Boston Fine Arts Museum catalogs. Some of our folk art items are carried by prestigious museums, such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and Museo del Barrio in Harlem, as well as other Hispanic cultural institutions from Tuscon, Arizona to Santa Cruz, California. The National Cathedral in Washingotn D.C. and the Library of Congress gift shops also carry our religious and spritual pieces. The Cathedral of St. John the Divine as well as other shops affiliated with religious institutions have had great success with our items. We were recently featured in an article in the Connecticut Post on our folk art collection.

Mayan Dreams has participated in retail craft markets and festivals throughout the east coast and New England. Among them Grand Central Market, the Boston Flower Show, the Connecticut Flower Show, Union Square Holiday Market and Bazaar Bazaar in Richmond Virginia. In addition Mayan Dreams has exhibited at wholesale trade shows in New York, Chicago Miami, Atlanta and Boston. This year we were invited to participate in the Los Angeles Gift Show.
